    Chemistry
    Chemistry is a full year laboratory course, which consists of a double period every other day.  This course covers the basic processes and mechanics of chemistry.  Included in the areas covered are quantitative and qualitative analysis of various topics including the structure of the atom, chemical reactions, and the study of solutions and gases.  These topics will be covered both in the laboratory and in the classroom.  This course is designed to meet standard college entrance requirements.

    AP Chemistry
    AP Chemistry is a college level chemistry course that covers most universities first semester chemistry course and most of their second semester course.  The course meets 5 days a week with a double period every other day.  The course is very labatory intensive, involving a lab project on a weekly basis.  This course will expand on many of the ideas taught in the first year course as well as introduce many new topics such as Thermodynamics, Kinetics, and Acid/Base chemistry
