Dear Fifth Grade Students and Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and welcome you to fifth grade at Baggaley Elementary School!  My name is Mr. Jon Teslevich and I will be your fifth-grade homeroom teacher for the upcoming school year along with your Math and Science teacher.  We will be switching classes daily with 5K, so Mrs. Keslar will be your Language Arts teacher.

I am currently entering my 21st year of teaching, all of which in 5th Grade. This year will be my 13th year at Baggaley. I spent the first 8 years of my teaching career in Maryland teaching both in Prince George's and Charles County.

My wife Julie and I currently reside in Unity Township with our two children, Owen (11) and Avalon (8). Julie is a kindergarten teacher @ Mt. View Elementary School. We are both love what we do and have chosen to dedicate our lives to teaching. I have taken my love of teaching to the athletic field, where I helped coach my son's baseball team in the West Point Little League this summer, as well as currently serving as head coach of the Greater Latrobe Jr. High Boys Soccer Team.

I am looking forward to a great school year. It is my pleasure to be your child's teacher and I assure you that I will do everything possible to make it great for them. If there's anything that I can do to make the transition and experience easier, please let me know. Keeping the lines of communication open between home and school is very important to me.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience.

    Sincerely,
    Mr. Teslevich
