• Meet Mr. Bolby
    portrait art
Hello, my name is Mr. Nate Bolby and I am the art teacher at Mountain View Elementary School.  I was raised
in Latrobe and graduated from Greater Latrobe High School.  I am proud to be
teaching and inspiring the students of Mountain View.
The focus of my own artwork is ceramics, and painting.  I have a studio in my home and I try to exhibit
my work in the community a few times each year. Most of my work is displayed and sold in the
coastal town of Corolla, North Carolina, where I spend my summers.
I live in a small and historic stone cottage just outside of downtown Greensburg.  I share my home with
my wife and three Great Danes.   Raising and training my dogs is very important to me.
I enjoy traveling with my family, learning a new skill or technique in my artwork, trying a new restaurant with my friends,
as well as riding bikes and hiking.  At school some of my favorite things are showing off my students' work at the
annual art show, teaching clay projects, and attending our 6th grade camp as the tie-dye teacher.
