    C1: Big Brothers Big Sisters needs your help to tutor students at Baggaley Elementary School during the 2019-2020 school year.  This is a great opportunity to help students and volunteer.  There will be an Orientation at the high school on Tuesday, May 21st, from 2:40 to 3:10.  If you are interested, see Ms. Kuhn in the Guidance office.  
    All library materials are due back to the library by Monday, May 20th. You either may place materials in the book return slot that is located in the hallway outside of the library entrance OR you may place them in the return slot in the circulation desk. If you need to keep something beyond May 20th, you must see Miss Riebel for permission. 
    C3: Attention all Sophomores and Juniors: it is time to elect class officers for the 2019-2020 school year. If you are interested in running for class president, vice president, secretary or treasurer, please pick up a Class Officers Candidate Form and a Requirements and Duties Sheet in the 11/12 office in the student waiting area.  You can also pick up a form from Miss Fedor in C210.  All forms are due to Miss Fedor by the end of the day on Tuesday, May 21st. Being elected will allow you to help plan Breakfast with Santa, the winter dance, prom, and graduation as well as help to keep the student body unified! Help make a difference next school year! 
    St Vincent is looking to hire seasonal help at Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp this summer.  Stop in the 11/12 Student waiting area's bulletin board for more information.
    Miss Riebel is looking for students to take on a teen advisor role in the makerspace, helping to plan activities and get other students involved in the space.  See Miss Riebel in person or send her an email if you are interested.

    C1: Laptop collection dates will be May 28th through May 31st and June 3rd and 4th.
    Yearbooks will be distributed on Wednesday, May 22 during Set 1.  There are a limited number of extra yearbooks.  These yearbooks will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning during lunch and Learn on May 22.  These extra books will be sold in C102 and can be purchased for $110 CASH ONLY.  No Checks will be accepted!  If you are unsure if you ordered a yearbook please see Mrs. Butler in C101.
    Attention Seniors: If you are interested in performing the National Anthem at graduation, please sign up for an audition time slot in the choir room.  Auditions will be held on Wednesday, May 22 with Ms. Surden, Mr. Sheridan, Ms. Fedor, Mrs. Suter, and Mr. Mains.  
    The Private Industry Council of Westmoreland County is sponsoring it's Core 2 Career summer program for students 18 and older. The Program is 246 hours over an 8 week span of classroom construction skills, occupational skills training, and on-site work. Students will be compensated for their time spent in the classroom and will make $9.00 an hour for their on-site work. Students who elect to go through this program have a strong likelihood of being hired on full time by the Westmoreland County Housing Authority who pays $15 to $17 an hour with benefits.     C3: Siemens is looking to hire graduating high school students as  Electro-Mechanical Assemblers and Materials Handlers at their New Kensington facility. No formal experience or training is required, on the job training will be provided. Their entry level position base wages start at $13.00 an hour with $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
