Budget

The Greater Latrobe School District is committed to professional, prudent, and conservative financial management. The budget development process is key to meeting these standards.  The process begins in October and is ongoing until the final budget adoption in June.  During the development process, input is gathered from a wide range of stakeholders, including but not limited to faculty and staff, teacher leaders, administrators, a variety of committees, the board of school directors, and community members.  Our budget development goals are to provide the necessary resources to meet the needs of all students so that we can continue to develop lifelong learners, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.  The district believes this can be accomplished through the containment of operational costs, while continuing to look at new and creative ways to generate additional revenue sources.
