Clearance Information

The following clearances are required for employment (Clearances must be dated not more than one year prior). Please follow the links/information above to complete the process for all clearances. Refer to specific position for required documents. To be considered for employment, please include all materials listed for the position.

1. ACT 24 - PA Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form

Must be renewed every 60 months (5) years.

2. ACT 34 - PA State Police Criminal Record Check Clearance 1-888-783-7972

Must be renewed every 60 months (5) years.

3. ACT 151 - PA Child Abuse History Clearance 1-877-371-5422

Must be renewed every 60 months (5) years.

4. Act 114 - Federal Criminal History Background Clearance (FBI Fingerprints)

Must be renewed every 60 months (5) years.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to have your fingerprinting process completed at Central Admin, you must complete the registration process, search for a local (PA) Enrollment Center and be sure to choose Walk In instead of scheduling an appointment date/time. The Central Admin office is not listed as a public location as we only perform the service for district related individuals. Be sure to bring your UEID number, driver's license, and a credit card for payment with you.

5. Act 126 - Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training

VERY IMPORTANT! You must answer YES to the following question if you need Act 126:

"Are you an Education, non-certified employee, or a contracted employee of a school (i.e. bus drive, custodian, etc.) seeking Act 126 credit?"

***Failure to enter Yes under this field will result in the incorrect course enrollment and you will not be awarded the correct certificate of completion needed for the Dept. of Education.***

What happens if I need Act 126 hours, and I enrolled in the NON-TIMED version of the course?

If you answer NO to the question, you will automatically be enrolled in the NON-TIMED version of the course and you will be required to retake the TIMED version.
