About the CSC & eCSC
The Center for Student Creativity (CSC) and the Elementary Center for Student Creativity (eCSC).
The CSC and eCSC are an outstanding result of a strong school and community partnership, fulfilling a key goal of our district. This goal is to foster a lifelong desire to learn and create in every student by integrating the arts into all aspects of their curricular and extracurricular activities. Significant funding for the CSC, an impressive $1.7 million, was generously provided by the Greater Latrobe Art Conservation Trust. This organization is well-known for overseeing the care of the high school's art collection. Through their dedicated efforts, these funds were successfully raised from various foundations, corporations, and numerous individual donors. This substantial investment was utilized, after the school district completed the shell of the facility, to fully finish the interior and thoroughly equip the center with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment and furnishings, ensuring a truly immersive and effective learning environment.
The Elementary Center for Student Creativity (eCSC) was thoughtfully built within the new Latrobe Elementary School, extending these artistic opportunities to our younger students. Both the CSC and the eCSC are managed by Jessica Golden, who coordinates all the activities and events that take place within these vital centers.

The Center for Student Creativity is located in the senior high complex, and the eCSC is within the Latrobe Elementary School. These versatile spaces are designed to host a wide range of activities, including theatrical and musical productions, exhibits, guest speakers, individual creative projects, and social gatherings for both school and community use.
The CSC and eCSC are each equipped with a large screen, projector, special exhibit lighting, wooden flooring, and light-controlled window coverings. Additionally, they both have a connecting outside courtyard.
The opportunities at these spaces are truly unlimited. It is not restricted to just music, art, dance, and theater, nor is it limited to senior high school students. Students at all grade levels will have access to the Centers.
